Chris Young has addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He has expressed that he is still coming to terms with the events of the past week, which included being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to show gratitude to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed gratitude for the support from friends and fans who reassured him that they stood by him and did not believe the accusations made against him.
"It's great to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience something like that. The positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support shown."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
In the security camera footage, Young appeared relaxed before he tried to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent then pushed Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall inside the bar.
"I'm still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that happened last week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care for you, and I want to say thank you," Young expresses.
