Inside Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd’s Divorce: Child Support, Property Division, and Moving On

  • by

Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd have completed the legal process of their divorce, as a judge has approved and finalized the decision.

Based on legal papers obtained by People magazine, the two country singers officially ended their relationship in Nashville on Tuesday (Jan. 30). This came shortly after they had already agreed on how to divide their property and handle child support in early January.

The former partners have come to an agreement regarding financial support for their child. As outlined in official documents submitted recently, Morris will provide $2,100 per month to Hurd, and they will share custody of their son. They have also agreed to divide their assets according to the prenuptial agreement and settlement terms.

Morris and Hurd have not publicly discussed their breakup on social media. In a late 2023 interview on the Howard Stern Show, Morris mentioned that she is not currently considering dating again.

She expressed a desire for the divorce process to be finished soon, as she is currently preoccupied with other things. She shared that she is writing a lot at the moment and that writing songs has become her way of coping and expressing her emotions, almost like a form of dating for her.

What is the story behind Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd's meeting?
