Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent charges being dropped. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the events that transpired, which involved his arrest on assault allegations.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and reassure him that they do not believe he committed any wrongdoing.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. Going through something like that is not something I would want anyone to experience. However, it was heartwarming to see the love and support from others."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
The security camera footage captures Young behaving calmly before he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.
"I am still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred last week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The release of "Double Down" is scheduled for Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume, have fun. I value you, I care about you, and I'm grateful," Young expresses.
