The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will follow the stories of four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their soulmates.
However, the interesting part is that every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.
Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer, as his main focus is team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been involved in roping and riding since he was a young boy, and it's a passion that runs deep in his family. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. Ty is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a loving mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His large property includes abundant wildlife and a historic cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed spending time in nature, which inspired him to pursue a farming career. He currently manages his own farm with a mix of horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is small and rural, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by farmland. Being a second generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business with the goal of carrying on his father's legacy.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers. He is the fourth generation in his family to work in citrus and cattle farming. Smothers manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, he has had to mature quickly after the passing of his father when he was just 12 years old. He now helps support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
