Super Bowl 58: The Most Expensive Ticket in History

  • by

Super Bowl 58 is on track to have the priciest tickets ever, making it a high-cost event for anyone looking to attend. If you want to go to this year's Super Bowl, you'll need to have a lot of money to spare.

As of Thursday, the lowest-priced single ticket available on the ticket resale site TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would provide seating in the upper 300 section, but the site does mention that the purchase includes a guaranteed seat.

If the prices remain the same, this Super Bowl ticket will be considered the most costly in history. The previous record holder was the 2020 Super Bowl, with an average ticket price of $6,370. One of the reasons for the high price that year was that the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were in the game. This is not the situation for this year's Super Bowl.

The upcoming Super Bowl will make history as the first to take place in Las Vegas. Ticket experts believe this unique location is causing prices to increase, as fans are eager to enjoy a weekend in Sin City and experience the excitement of the biggest sporting event in the world.

In case you were curious, the average price of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.

The proximity of the stadium is a significant factor in attracting 49er fans. According to StubHub, 26 percent of ticket sales come from California, where fans can easily make the trip to see their team play. In contrast, only 7 percent of ticket sales come from Kansas and Missouri combined.

Let's also consider the influence of Taylor Swift! Her presence at the event may attract a larger female audience than usual.

Regardless of how you enter, Allegiant Stadium, which has a capacity of 65,000 seats, will be completely full. The Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11, at 6:30PM ET.
