Inside Luke Bryan and Jon Pardi’s ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Video: Special Guest Stars and Family Moments

  • by

Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan collaborated on a music video for their song "Cowboys and Plowboys" with some surprise guest stars appearing alongside them. The video features familiar faces that add to the overall appeal of the production.

Both singers included their significant others in their music videos. Bryan and his wife Caroline Boyer, who have been married for 17 years, are shown embracing in a field and admiring the sunset. Pardi is seen twirling his wife Summer on a dance floor in one scene, and in another, he is holding his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley while they ride horses together.

It's logical that Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys." The song gives a glimpse into the personal backgrounds of the two artists, with Pardi representing the cowboy and Bryan coming from a family of peanut farmers, making him the plowboy.

Pardi expressed that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to sing together during an interview with Taste of Country Nights. The song is about cowboys and farmers.

Both singers have a history of featuring family members in their music videos. Bryan included his wife and mother in the music video for his 2020 song "One Margarita," which had a beach theme. On the other hand, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."

Pardi's latest music release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first since his album Mr. Saturday Night came out in 2022, excluding a Christmas album released last year. He and his wife Summer had a baby named Presley in February, and they have revealed that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
