It is understandable why Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys." The song provides a glimpse into the personal backgrounds of the two singers, with Pardi portraying the cowboy and Bryan coming from a family of peanut farmers, taking on the role of the plowboy.
Pardi expressed that he and Luke both feel that the song was meant for them to sing together. He explained to Taste of Country Nights that the song is about cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have a history of featuring their family members in music videos. Bryan had his wife and mother appear in his 2020 music video for "One Margarita," which was set at the beach. On the other hand, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in his 2021 music video for "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first new music since his album "Mr. Saturday Night" released in 2022, excluding a Christmas album from last year. He and his wife Summer became parents to baby Presley in February and have revealed that they are expecting their second child in July, another girl.
