Chris Young recently spoke to his fans for the first time since his arrest on assault charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him during his time in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and reassure him that they don't believe he did anything wrong.
"It is a relief to see the charges dropped. No one should have to experience something like that. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support that was shown."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
Footage from a security camera captures Young acting composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out towards them. In response, the agent shoves Young, causing him to trip back into the bar and fall down.
Young expressed that he is still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events from the previous week. He mentioned in the video that the encouragement and support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new album "Double Down" will be released this Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I'm grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to express my thanks," Young expresses.
