Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and the subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the events that transpired over the past week, which involved allegations of assault.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expresses how much it meant to him to have the support of friends and fans who reached out to him and reassured him that they believe in his innocence.
"It's a relief to see the charges dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. The positive aspect was feeling grateful for the love and support shown."
The event occurred at a bar called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
In the security footage, Young appears calm before trying to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall.
Young mentions in the video that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events of the past week. However, he also shares that the support from his fans has motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to say thank you," Young expresses.
