Chris Young has spoken publicly for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which included being arrested on assault charges.

The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" used social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was held in jail on the night of January 22nd.

Update: Chris Young has been vindicated of all charges following his arrest at a bar in Nashville

Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans show their support and reassure him that they do not believe he was involved in any wrongdoing.

"It was a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience something like that. However, it was heartwarming to see the overwhelming love and support."

The Dawg House in downtown Nashville was where the incident occurred.

The security camera footage captures Young appearing calm before he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out with his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.

In the video, Young mentions that he is still dealing with the recent false accusations and events from the past week. However, he shares that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.

The new album "Double Down" is set to be released on Friday, February 2nd at midnight.

"Turn up the volume, savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I have affection for you, and I am thankful," Young expresses.
