It is understandable why Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in this music video. "Cowboys and Plowboys" provides a glimpse into the personal backgrounds of the two singers, with Pardi portraying a cowboy and Bryan coming from a family of peanut farmers, making him the plowboy.
Pardi mentioned that both he and Luke felt that the song was meant for them to sing together during an interview with Taste of Country Nights. The song is about cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have experience involving their family members in their music videos. Bryan had his wife and mother appear in his music video for "One Margarita" in 2020, which featured a beach theme. Pardi, on the other hand, included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first new music since his Mr. Saturday Night album in 2022. He also released a Christmas album last fall. Pardi and his wife, Summer, became parents to baby Presley in February and have announced they are expecting their second child, another girl, due in July.
