Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Arrest and Dropped Charges: “The Bright Spot Was Seeing All the Love and Support

Chris Young has spoken to his fans for the first time since his arrest and the charges against him were dropped. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the events that took place over the past week, including his arrest on assault charges.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expresses how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and believe in his innocence.

"It feels good to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't wish for anyone to experience what happened. However, the positive aspect was seeing the overwhelming love and support."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

In the security camera footage, Young appears calm as he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by gesturing with his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall.

Young expresses that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events of the previous week. However, he mentions that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The new album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
