Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Charges Dropped: “The Love and Support Meant the World

Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to digest a tumultuous week that involved being arrested for assault.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Chris Young has been cleared of all charges following his arrest at a Nashville bar.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have many friends and fans support him and reassure him that they do not believe he did any wrongdoing.

"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience something like that. However, the positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support from others."

The event occurred at a bar called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.

Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed before he tries to catch the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to stagger backwards into the bar and ultimately fall down.

In a video, Young shares that he is still trying to deal with the false accusations and events of the past week. He also mentions that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The album "Double Down" will be released at midnight on Friday, February 2nd.

"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care for you, and I am thankful," Young expresses.
