Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of the show "Farmer Wants a Wife":
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer as he is a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a deep connection to roping and riding, having started at a young age. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. Ty is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother to his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His large property has a variety of wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing surrounded by horses and nature inspired him to pursue a career in farming. Today, he runs his own farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, aged 29, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by farmland. He comes from a family of farmers, with his father being the first generation to work the land. Rogers has followed in his father's footsteps and now runs the family farm, aiming to carry on the legacy that his father began.
At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer based in Bartow, Florida. His extensive property includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for his cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is known for his wisdom and maturity, having taken on responsibilities at a young age after losing his father when he was only 12. He now helps care for his mother and three sisters while managing his farming operations.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM on the Fox network.
