Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent charges being dropped. He mentioned that he is still trying to understand and cope with the events of the past week, which involved him being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on January 22nd.

Young expressed in the video how much it meant to them to have friends and fans show their support and believe in them, saying "we got you, we don't think you did anything wrong."
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience something like this. The positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support that was shown."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
In the security camera footage, Young appears calm before trying to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by gesturing towards him. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.
In the beginning of the video, Young mentions that he is still trying to understand and deal with the false accusations and events of the past week. Towards the end, he shares that the support from his fans encouraged him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new album "Double Down" will be released this Friday at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a great time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to thank you," Young expresses.
