Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Arrest: “Processing False Accusations and Finding Support

Chris Young is sharing his thoughts with fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges for assault. He expressed that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week.

After spending the night of January 22 in jail, the singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed his gratitude on social media for the friends and fans who supported and believed in him.

Young expressed in the video how much it meant to him to have friends and fans show their support and belief in him, saying "we got you, we don't think you did any of this."

"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience something like that. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support shown."

The event occurred at a location called the Dawg House in the city center of Nashville.

In the security camera footage, Young appears composed before he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.

"I'm still trying to make sense of all the false accusations and events that occurred last week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The new album "Double Down" is set to be released this Friday at midnight.

"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to say thank you," Young expresses.
