Chris Young recently spoke to his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with a tumultuous week that involved being taken into custody for assault allegations.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Chris Young has been found not guilty of all charges following his arrest at a bar in Nashville.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans show their support and belief in him, saying "we got you, we don't think you did any of this."

"I am relieved to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience what I went through. The positive aspect was witnessing the outpouring of love and support from others."

The situation occurred at a bar called the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville.

Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed before he tries to catch the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to trip backwards into the bar and ultimately fall down.

Young mentioned in the video that he is still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week. He also shared that the support from fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The album "Double Down" will be released this Friday at midnight on February 2nd.

"Turn up the volume and savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care for you, and I want to express my thanks," Young expresses.
