The previous record holder for the highest priced ticket was the 2020 Super Bowl, where the average ticket was sold for $6,370. One of the reasons for the high cost that year was that the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was playing. However, this year, the home team is not playing in the Super Bowl.
