Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Arrest and Dropped Charges: “The Bright Spot was the Love and Support

Chris Young is speaking to his fans for the first time after being arrested on assault charges. He stated that he is still trying to make sense of the events of the past week, which also included the charges being dropped.

After spending the night of Jan. 22 in jail, the singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media towards friends and fans who supported him.

Young expressed how much the support from friends and fans meant to him, as they reassured him that they did not believe he was guilty of the accusations.

"I am relieved to see the charges being dropped. It's a difficult experience that I wouldn't want anyone else to go through. However, the positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support from others."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed as he tries to grab the attention of an agent from the Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission by gesturing with his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to trip and fall backwards into the bar.

Young explains in the video that he is still dealing with the aftermath of false accusations and events from the previous week. He mentions that the support from his fans encouraged him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd at midnight.

Young expresses his gratitude and love by encouraging others to turn up the volume and enjoy the moment.
