Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season the female contestants are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which may result in some dramatic moments on the farm.

The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

In an unexpected turn, each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, refers to himself as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he works as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a passion for roping and riding, which he has been doing since he was a young child. Despite being one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a good mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, aged 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large piece of land is home to various animals and an old cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and developed a love for the outdoors, which inspired him to start a farming business. He currently runs his own farm with a mix of horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado, growing potatoes and barley on a 1,000-acre property. Center is a small town with only one traffic light, surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on his father's legacy.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers who have worked with citrus and cattle. His family's property is large, with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after his father's passing when he was 12. He now takes on responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.

The second season of the show "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
