Chris Young has addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent charges being dropped. He expressed that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which involved him being arrested for assault.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" used social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and tell him that they believe in him and do not think he did anything wrong.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience what happened. However, the positive aspect was receiving so much love and support."
The event occurred at a restaurant called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
In the security camera footage, Young appears calm before he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by raising his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stumble back into the bar and fall down.
Young mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and recent events that occurred in the past week. Towards the end of the video, he mentions that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The release of "Double Down" is scheduled for midnight on Friday, February 2nd.
"Turn up the volume, have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care for you, and I appreciate you," Young expresses.
