Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, 42, likes to refer to himself as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he is a "team roper". He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been involved in roping and riding since he was young. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. Ty is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother to his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His large property is home to various animals and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's childhood included horses and spending time outside, which inspired him to pursue a farming career. Today, he is the proud owner of a farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley across 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by farmland. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up working on the farm alongside his father. He is dedicated to carrying on the family business and upholding the legacy established by his dad.
Nathan Smothers, aged 23, comes from a long line of farmers. He is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His expansive property includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite being the youngest farmer on the show, Smothers displays wisdom beyond his years. He had to take on responsibilities at a young age after his father passed away when he was 12, helping to care for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will premiere on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
