Get to know the farmers on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer because he is a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has been roping and riding since he was a young boy and is one of the more mature farmers featured on the show. He is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter and is searching for a partner who can be a good mother figure to his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His large property is home to many animals and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and nature inspired him to pursue a career in farming, and he now runs his own farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a 1,000-acre farm in Center, Colorado where he grows potatoes and barley. The town he resides in is very small with only one traffic light and is surrounded by farmland. He comes from a family of farmers and as a child, he helped his father on the farm. Rogers is dedicated to running the family farm and aims to carry on the legacy that his father started.
At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown maturity and responsibility since losing his father at 12, taking on the role of helping care for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
