Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which included being arrested on assault charges.
After spending the night of Jan. 22 in jail, the singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media towards friends and fans who had faith in him.

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans show their support by telling him they believed in him and didn't think he did anything wrong.
"It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't wish for anyone to have to go through such a situation. However, the positive aspect was seeing the overwhelming love and support from others."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the city center of Nashville.
Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed as he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards into the bar.
Young mentions in the beginning of the video that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week. By the end of the video, he shares that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new release "Double Down" will be available this Friday, starting at midnight on February 2nd.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to thank you," Young expresses.
