The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will follow four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their perfect partners.
In a unique turn of events, each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.
Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, likes to identify as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he takes care of horses and cattle. Roping and riding have been a part of his life since he was young. Ferrell, one of the older farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be with him but also be a good mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property has plenty of wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed spending time outside, which led him to choose farming as his career. He now runs his own farm with both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, age 29, runs a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is very small with only one traffic light and is surrounded by fields. Coming from a family of farmers, Brandon worked on the farm with his father during his childhood. He now runs the family business and aims to carry on the tradition started by his father.
At just 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is the fourth generation of his family to work in citrus and cattle farming in Bartow, Florida. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown maturity and responsibility, especially after the loss of his father when he was only 12 years old. Since then, he has taken on the role of helping care for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9 PM on Fox.
