Get to know the farmers featured in Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy rather than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. His passion for roping and riding began in childhood and has stayed with him ever since. Ferrell, who is one of the older farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, aged 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to work the land. His farm is home to a variety of animals and includes a historic cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and nature inspired him to pursue farming as a career, and he now runs his own farm with both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, aged 29, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado, where he grows potatoes and barley on a 1,000-acre property. Center is a small town with only one traffic light, located in an area surrounded by farmland. Rogers is following in his father's footsteps as a second-generation farmer, having spent his childhood helping out on the farm. He is committed to carrying on the family business and preserving the legacy established by his father.
At just 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is currently running a large farm in Bartow, Florida. His property includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to take on a lot of responsibilities since losing his father when he was only 12 years old. He now helps support his mother and three sisters while managing the family farm.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
