Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to be known as a cowboy rather than a farmer, as he works as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a passion for roping and riding that dates back to his childhood. As one of the more mature farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion, but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to abundant wildlife and a historic cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and love for the outdoors inspired him to pursue a career in farming. He currently owns a farm with both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is very small and only has one stoplight, with farmland surrounding it. Coming from a family of farmers, Rogers worked on the farm with his father as a child. He is now carrying on the family business and aims to uphold the legacy that his father started.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of citrus and cattle farmers. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after the passing of his father when he was just 12, taking on responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
