According to Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, this season's female contestants are more emotionally charged, lively, and responsive, which may result in some heated moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

However, there is a unique aspect to this situation in which every farmer is allowed to choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will provide the women with a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities and lifestyle of a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, likes to refer to himself as a cowboy rather than a farmer because his main occupation is "team roper". He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Roping and riding are activities that have been a part of his life since he was a young boy. Ferrell, who is one of the older farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old first-time farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, owns a large property with an abundance of wildlife and a historic cabin from the 19th century. He resides in the cabin with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed spending time outdoors, which led him to pursue a career in farming. He currently operates his own farm, raising horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large potato and barley farm spanning 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. He resides in a small town with just one stoplight, surrounded by agricultural land. Following in his father's footsteps, Rogers is a second-generation farmer who grew up helping out on the farm. He is dedicated to carrying on the family business and preserving the legacy his father began.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers who have worked with citrus and cattle. His family owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres of land for their cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after losing his father at 12 and taking on responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
