Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife: Ty Ferrell, aged 42, considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer, as his main job is team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he cares for horses and cattle. Ty has been passionate about roping and riding since he was a young boy. He is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter and is hoping to find a partner who can be a good mother figure for his child in addition to being his companion.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His large property is home to a variety of wildlife and includes a historic cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado, where he grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. Center is a small town with only one stoplight, surrounded by fields and farms. As the son of a farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on the legacy his father started.
