Sugar Ray lead singer has confirmed that Kid Rock's lyrics about "getting more ass" than Mark McGrath were accurate. The musician's boast in the song "Bawitdaba" has been validated by the Sugar Ray frontman.
The lyrics were taken from Rock's song "Cocky" released in 2001 as part of his album with the same title. In that particular part of the song, the lyrics mention Rock introducing himself as Kid Rock from the old school, boasting about having more money than Matchbox Twenty and getting more attention from women than Mark McGrath.
How did we finally get an answer to a question that has been around for over twenty years? It all began when Rock Feed asked on social media if Kid Rock really had more success with women than Mark McGrath.
Shortly after that, Finn McKenty, a well-known YouTuber, proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to resolve the argument. McKenty also made sure to mention and tag the lead singer of Sugar Ray in his suggestion.
McGrath responded to the question with a sense of humor, confirming that the person mentioned did indeed rhyme "ass" with his name. This response was shared by the singer through a social media platform.

If you were curious, Matchbox Twenty has not responded to Rock's statement. It would be intriguing to compare the financial success of both bands, considering they have both been successful for four decades.
