Jennifer Nettles, who hosts the Fox show, acknowledges that this season the female contestants are displaying more emotions, energy, and reactions, which may result in some dramatic moments on the farm.

The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are in search of their perfect partners.

In a unique twist, each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, likes to identify as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he works as a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Roping and riding are a passion for him, starting from his childhood. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced dad with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be with him but also be a caring mother figure for his child.

At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who comes from a family of farmers. His property is large and filled with wildlife, as well as a historic cabin from the 19th century where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and his love for the outdoors led him to pursue a career in farming. Today, he is the proud owner of a farm that includes horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town he resides in is very small, with just one stoplight, and is encompassed by farmland. He comes from a family of farmers, with his father being in the same line of work. Rogers has been involved in the farm since he was a child and plans to carry on the tradition started by his father.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old, comes from a long line of farmers and currently operates a large farm in Bartow, Florida. His property consists of 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after the passing of his father when he was just 12 years old. He now helps support his mother and three sisters while managing the family farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
