The host of the Fox show, Jennifer Nettles, acknowledges that this season the female contestants are displaying more intense emotions, energy, and reactions, which may result in some dramatic moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their life partners.

The unique aspect of this situation is that every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to join them on their farm. This experience will provide the women with a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities of being a farmer's spouse.

Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife: Ty Ferrell, 42, who considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer due to his passion for team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Mo., where he raises horses and cattle. Roping and riding have been a part of his life since childhood. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ferrell is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is large and filled with wildlife, and he lives in a 19th-century cabin with his three dogs. Kolinsky was exposed to horses and the outdoors from a young age, which inspired him to start a farming career. He now runs his own farm, raising horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley across 1,000 acres of land. The town where he resides is very small, with only one stoplight, and is mostly surrounded by farmland. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to uphold the legacy his father began.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and has a deep connection to farming. He is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer from Bartow, Florida, with a large property that includes 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is mature and responsible, having taken on the role of supporting his mother and three sisters after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
