The lyrics in question are from a song called "Cocky" by Rock, released in 2001 on his album with the same title. In this part of the song, he mentions his name and compares his success and popularity to other musicians like Matchbox Twenty and Mark McGrath.
The answer to a question that has been around for over twenty years was finally found. It all began when Rock Feed asked on social media whether Kid Rock truly had more success with women than Mark McGrath.
Shortly after, Finn McKenty, a well-known YouTuber, proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to resolve the argument, and he also mentioned the Sugar Ray singer in his post.
McGrath responded to the question with a sense of humor, confirming that the person did indeed rhyme "ass" with McGrath. This was communicated by the singer through X, previously known as Twitter.
