Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season the women are displaying more emotions, energy, and reactions, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.

The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will follow the journey of four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their soulmates.

However, there is a unique twist in which every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come reside with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, refers to himself as a cowboy rather than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has a passion for roping and riding that dates back to his childhood. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother figure for his child.

At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a new farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. His large property is home to many animals and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed spending time outside, which inspired him to pursue a career in farming. He currently runs his own farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. Center is a small town with only one stoplight and is mostly surrounded by farmland. Rogers comes from a farming family and has been working on the farm since he was a child, following in his father's footsteps. He is dedicated to carrying on the family business and continuing the legacy that his father began.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his youth, Smothers has shown maturity beyond his years, stepping up to help care for his mother and three sisters after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
