Sugar Ray Singer Confirms Kid Rock’s “Get More Ass” Claim in Hilarious Response

  • by

Sugar Ray vocalist has confirmed that Kid Rock's lyrics about getting more attention than Mark McGrath were true. The singer verified that the claims made by the "Bawitdaba" musician were accurate.

The lyrics were taken from a song called "Cocky" by Rock in 2001, which was part of his album with the same title. In these lyrics, Rock boasts about his success and fame compared to other musicians like Matchbox Twenty and Mark McGrath.

The question that had been unanswered for over twenty years was finally resolved. It all began when Rock Feed raised the question on social media: "Did Kid Rock really have more romantic encounters than Mark McGrath?"

Shortly after, Finn McKenty, a well-known YouTuber, proposed that Mark McGrath should be the one to resolve the argument, and he mentioned the Sugar Ray frontman in his post.

McGrath responded to the question with a sense of humor, confirming that the person in question did indeed rhyme "ass" with McGrath. This clear response was shared by the singer on X (formerly Twitter).

If you were curious, Matchbox Twenty has not responded to Rock's other claim. It would be intriguing to compare the financial success of both bands, considering they have both been successful for four decades.
