The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different regions of the United States who are in search of their perfect partners.
However, there is a unique twist in which every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come and live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.
Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, which is home to horses and cattle. Roping and riding have been a part of his life since childhood. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ferrell is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His farm is home to various animals and includes a historic cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and nature inspired him to pursue a career in farming, and he now runs his own farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that produces potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is a small one with only a single stoplight, and it is surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up working on the farm alongside his father. He remains dedicated to running the family business and aspires to carry on the legacy that his father began.
Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers. He is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer with a large property that includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after the loss of his father at the age of 12, taking on responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.
The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Fox at 9PM ET on Thursday, February 1st.
