The host of the Fox show, Jennifer Nettles, acknowledges that this season's female contestants are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which may result in some dramatic moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

However, there is a unique aspect to this situation where each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, which is home to horses and cattle. With a lifelong passion for roping and riding, Ferrell has been involved in these activities since his childhood. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother to his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His farm is located on a large piece of land with abundant wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed spending time outdoors, which influenced his decision to become a farmer. He currently runs his own farm, raising both horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large potato and barley farm spanning 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is small with only one stoplight, surrounded by agricultural land. Coming from a line of farmers, Rogers grew up working alongside his father on the farm. He is committed to carrying on the family business and maintaining the legacy established by his dad.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers. He is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His extensive property includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres of land for his cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is very knowledgeable and mature. When his father passed away when he was just 12, he had to take on more responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
