Kane Brown has shown a strong commitment to supporting underprivileged and at-risk youth by actively participating in programs like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since the beginning of his career as a mainstream country artist. This dedication to helping others has now earned him a significant award.
Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the "I Can Feel It" artist's consistent dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.
Brown has been awarded the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given every year to artists who prioritize giving back to their community.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, which is a gathering happening on Feb. 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a chance and a welcoming environment to children all over, particularly those facing challenges due to their socioeconomic status. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, has expressed that he wishes he had access to a safe space like the one the organization strives to create for young people.
Apart from donating money, Brown has also given children opportunities. He gave tickets and backstage access to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including dinner, while sharing his own story with them. He has also helped to revive a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer has been recognized for his efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
