Kane Brown has shown a strong commitment to helping underprivileged children by supporting organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since the beginning of his career as a mainstream country artist. His dedication to providing opportunities for at-risk youth has earned him a significant award.
Currently, the country music industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their dedication to supporting children and their focus on charitable endeavors.
Brown has been awarded the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to artists who prioritize giving back to their communities in their careers.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, a gathering happening on February 29 in Nashville as a component of this year's Country Radio Seminar.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America is dedicated to creating a supportive environment and opportunities for children, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Brown, who faced hardships like homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed a desire for the organization to offer the safe and inclusive community that he wished he had when he was growing up.
Aside from donating money, such as funding the remodeling of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given children opportunities personally. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local organization, even including dinner and sharing his own experiences with them. Additionally, he has made efforts to revitalize a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer has been recognized for his involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization.
Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
