Kane Brown has consistently shown his support for underprivileged children by being involved with organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since the beginning of his career as a popular country artist.
Currently, the country music radio industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their long-term dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable initiatives.
Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given out every year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back as a significant aspect of their work.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer opportunities and a welcoming community to children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing disadvantages due to their socioeconomic status. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, has expressed that he wishes he had access to the safe and supportive environment that the organization strives to create for young people.
Aside from donating money, such as sponsoring the refurbishment of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022, Brown has also given opportunities to children personally. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local chapter, including dinner, while sharing his own story with them. Additionally, he has been involved in revitalizing a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer has been recognized for his involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.
Some of the past winners of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award are Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and several others. Tracy Lawrence received the award last year.
