Kane Brown Receives 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award for Dedication to Underprivileged Kids

  • by

Kane Brown has always been a strong advocate for underprivileged youth, supporting organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America since the beginning of his career in mainstream country music. His dedication to providing opportunities for at-risk youth has earned him a significant award.

Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the "I Can Feel It" artist's consistent dedication to supporting children and focusing on various charitable endeavors.

Brown has been selected to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back as a significant aspect of their professional endeavors.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, which is happening on Feb. 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer a supportive environment and opportunities for children from all backgrounds, particularly those facing economic hardships. Brown, who faced challenges like homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, expressed a desire for a safe and nurturing space like the one the organization strives to create for young people.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also created opportunities for children by giving them tickets and backstage access to an event, along with sharing his own story with them. He has also been involved in rebuilding a local chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Additionally, he funded the renovation of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022.

The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was awarded the title of "Champion of Youth" by the organization for his work.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award have included Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and various others. Tracy Lawrence received the award in the previous year.
