Daniel Kreps, the Grammy-winning bluegrass artists Billy Strings and Chris Thile performed together on CBS Saturday Morning's Saturday Sessions after their first collaborative concert.

During the show, the skilled guitar player and expert mandolin player performed three well-known bluegrass songs: "I Am a Pilgrim," "Wild Bill Jones," and "I’ve Been All Around This World," a song made popular by the Grateful Dead.

Both Strings and Thile are nominated for Grammy awards at the upcoming ceremony, but in different categories. Strings is nominated for three awards: Best Bluegrass Album (Me/And/Dad), Best Americana Roots Song ("California Sober" with Willie Nelson), and Best Country Duo/Group Performance (for Dierks Bentley's "High Note"). Thile, a member of Nickel Creek, is nominated for Best Folk Album for Celebrants.
