You have arrived at the website for the Amber 4 Ultra plug-in suite created by Acustica Audio.
Acustica Audio has released a new version of their Amber 4 plug-in suite called Amber 4 Ultra, which utilizes their Hyper technology and Aria engine for improved performance. This version includes accurate models of Class A equipment such as EQs, a compressor, and a preamp, with upgraded visuals and audio quality.
The suite includes two EQ plug-ins called Amber 4 Ultra and Amber 4 Stereo Ultra. Both plug-ins have the same controls, but the Stereo variant has separate controls for each channel. Each plug-in has four bands with frequency and gain controls. The low- and high-mid bands have a width parameter, while the low- and high-frequency bands have a control to switch between peak and shelf filter types.
The Amber 4 Ultra has a continuous control feature that allows users to target mid, left/right, and side signals. On the other hand, the Amber 4 Stereo Ultra gives individual control over the left/mid and right/side channels. According to Acustica, the Amber 4 Ultra is seen as a highly powerful and low-noise parametric EQ in the digital realm, while the Amber 4 Stereo Ultra is considered one of the most musically transparent EQ options in their lineup.
The Amber 4 Comp Ultra emulates a Class-A opto compressor using Hyper technology, providing a transparent dynamics processor. It includes typical compressor parameters, as well as features like side-chain filtering, variable stereo linking, controls for blending mid, left/right, and side signals, and built-in parallel compression.
Amber 4 Pre Ultra features a variety of Class A preamp designs, with a total of eight emulations available. These emulations include both solid-state and valve-based units, each equipped with basic controls for input and output levels, as well as options for adjusting Preamp (gain) and Filter (high-pass).
With the introduction of the updated Aira engine, all plug-ins now have the capability to display dynamic and real-time metering, and also come equipped with the company's Anti-Aliasing algorithm. Additionally, they have improved CPU efficiency compared to previous versions.
System Requirements
In order to use Amber 4 Ultra, your PC must be running Windows 10 or 11, or your Mac must be running macOS 10.15 or newer. You can choose from VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX plug-in versions for compatibility with your system.
