You have arrived at the Amber 4 Ultra plug-in suite created by Acustica Audio.
The newest release from Acustica Audio features their Hyper technology and Aria engine to improve their well-known Amber 4 plug-in suite. Amber 4 Ultra offers accurate representations of Class A equipment such as EQs, a compressor, and preamp, with upgraded visuals and better audio quality.
The suite comes with two EQ plug-ins called Amber 4 Ultra and Amber 4 Stereo Ultra. Both plug-ins have the same set of controls, but the Stereo version has separate controls for each channel. Each plug-in has four bands with frequency and gain controls. The low- and high-mid bands have a width parameter, while the low- and high-frequency bands have a control that allows you to switch between peak and shelf filter types.
Amber 4 Ultra allows users to control mid, left/right, and side signals continuously, while Amber4 Stereo Ultra offers separate control over the left/mid and right/side channels. According to Acustica, Amber 4 Ultra is a highly powerful parametric EQ with low noise in the digital realm, and Amber4 Stereo Ultra is one of the most musically transparent EQ options in their collection.
The Amber 4 Comp Ultra emulates a Class-A opto compressor using Hyper technology for a clear dynamics processing. It includes standard compressor controls, as well as features like side-chain filtering, stereo linking options, and built-in parallel compression.
The Amber 4 Pre Ultra includes a variety of Class A preamp designs, with a total of eight emulations available. These emulations include both solid-state and valve-based units, each with a straightforward set of controls for input and output levels, as well as preamp gain and high-pass filter adjustments.
The plug-ins now have dynamic and real-time metering displays thanks to the new Aira engine. They also feature the company's Anti-Aliasing algorithm and use less CPU power than before.
Operating System Compatibility
Amber 4 Ultra can be used on computers that have Windows 10 or 11 installed, as well as Mac computers with macOS 10.15 or newer. You can access VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX versions of the plug-in.
The Amber 4 Ultra is currently available for purchase at a special introductory price of €89 until February 26, 2024. After this date, the price will increase to €209.
