Kane Brown’s Philanthropic Heart: How His Commitment to Helping Underprivileged Kids Earned Him the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award

  • by

Kane Brown has been recognized with a major award for his dedication to helping underprivileged children. Since the beginning of his career in country music, Brown has been a strong advocate for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that offer support and opportunities for at-risk youth.

The country radio industry is recognizing the singer of "I Can Feel It" for their dedication to supporting children and their focus on philanthropic activities.

Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given out each year to artists who prioritize philanthropy as a significant aspect of their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to create a welcoming environment and opportunities for children, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his own childhood, wishes he had access to the supportive community that the organization offers to young people.

Apart from donating money, Brown has also given children opportunities to experience special events. For example, he gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local organization, treating them to dinner and sharing his personal story. Additionally, he has helped to revitalize a chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized before. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contributions.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include various country music artists such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of this award last year.
