  • by

Kane Brown, a well-known country artist, has been recognized for his dedication to helping underprivileged children by winning a significant award. Since the beginning of his career, he has shown strong support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that aim to help disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.

Currently, the country music industry has started to pay attention to the singer known for the song "I Can Feel It" and their dedication to supporting children and focusing on charitable endeavors.

Brown has been chosen to receive the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given each year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back as a significant aspect of their work.

He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29 in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to offer opportunities and a welcoming community to children, particularly those from disadvantaged economic backgrounds. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse during his childhood, expressed a desire for the safe and supportive environment that the organization strives to create for kids and teenagers.

Aside from donating money, Brown has also given back by creating opportunities for children. He gave tickets and backstage passes to 16 kids and 4 adults from a local organization, treating them to dinner and sharing his own personal story with them. Additionally, he has helped to revive a chapter in his hometown of Chatanooga, Tenn.

The country music artist's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his work.

Past recipients of the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award include Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill, among others. Tracy Lawrence was the recipient of the award last year.
