The lead singer of Sugar Ray has verified that Kid Rock's lyrics about "getting more ass" than Mark McGrath were accurate.
The lyrics were taken from Rock's song "Cocky" released in 2001 on his album with the same title. In that part of the song, the lyrics mention Rock's identity and claim to be more successful than Matchbox Twenty and Mark McGrath.
How did they finally find an answer to a question that had been around for over twenty years? It all began when Rock Feed asked on social media whether Kid Rock really had more success with women than Mark McGrath.
Shortly after, well-known YouTuber Finn McKenty proposed that Mark McGrath should help resolve the argument, and he also mentioned the Sugar Ray vocalist by tagging him.
McGrath responded to the question with a good sense of humor, confirming that the person in question did indeed rhyme "ass" with "McGrath." This was said by the singer through X platform, formerly known as Twitter.

If you were curious, Matchbox Twenty has not responded to Rock's other claim. Both bands have been active for four decades, so it would be intriguing to compare their financial success.
