Kane Brown has always been a strong advocate for helping underprivileged and at-risk children since he first entered the country music scene. He has shown unwavering support for organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of America that aim to provide opportunities for these youth.
Currently, the country music radio sector is recognizing the dedication of the singer of "I Can Feel It" to supporting children and focusing on other charitable initiatives.
Brown has been selected as the winner of the 2024 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, which is given every year to recognize artists who prioritize giving back to their communities.
He will be celebrated at CRS Honors, an event happening on February 29th in Nashville as a part of the Country Radio Seminar for this year.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America aims to create a welcoming community for children, particularly those facing economic challenges. Brown, who faced homelessness, racism, and abuse in his own childhood, believes that having a safe and supportive place like the organization offers would have greatly benefited him as a youth.
Besides donating money, Brown has also given children opportunities. For example, he funded the renovation of a gym in northeast Ohio in 2022 and personally arranged for 16 kids and 4 adults from a local organization to attend an event, including dinner and backstage access. He has also been involved in rebuilding a local chapter in his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The country singer's efforts with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have been recognized in the past. In 2022, he was honored as the organization's "Champion of Youth" for his contribution.
In the past, artists such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill have been recognized with the CRS Artist Humanitarian Award. Tracy Lawrence received the award last year.
