This is the place where you can find information about Sennheiser's new release of HD
Sennheiser has introduced the HD 490 PRO headphones. They state that this new series provides outstanding clarity, comfort, and durability, and has been designed to cater to the needs of contemporary music production.
The HD 490 PRO series guarantees a natural frequency response, providing a lively and genuine sound reproduction throughout all audio frequencies with a range of 5Hz – 36.1kHz (-10dB). These headphones come with two sets of ear pads that are tailored for producing and mixing music. This design helps prevent ear fatigue and enables precise identification of frequencies during critical listening tasks.
The HD 490 PRO headphones have an open-back design that features neodymium magnets and Sennheiser's unique low-frequency cylinder system. This design is meant to provide a rich and defined bass sound, as well as the capability to accurately capture low frequencies.
These headphones from Sennheiser were created to provide comfort and flexibility without putting pressure on certain points, which makes them ideal for long studio sessions. The HD 490 PRO series uses Sennheiser's Open-frame Architecture to decrease resonance and lower total harmonic distortion (THD).
The headphones come with a plug-in called Dear Reality dearVR MIX-SE, which uses spatial audio technology to create a virtual mixing environment that replicates the sound characteristics of different real-world mix studios and locations when using headphone monitors.
The HD 490 PRO Plus comes with a longer 3m cable, an extra headband pad, and a carrying case.
The HD 490 PRO series comes in two options – HD 490 PRO and HD 490 PRO Plus. Both versions include the HD 490 PRO headphones and come with a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter, a 1.8 m cable, mixing and producing ear pads. The HD 490 PRO Plus also has an additional headband pad, a 3 m cable, and a case.
The Sennheiser HD 490 PRO headphones can be purchased at the moment, with the PRO version priced at $399£349 and the PRO Plus version priced at $479£399.
