You have arrived at this location. Sennheiser has introduced their new HD 490 PRO

Sennheiser has introduced the HD 490 PRO headphones, which they say provide great clarity, comfort, and reliability. These headphones have been designed specifically to meet the needs of today's music production industry.

The HD 490 PRO series guarantees a natural frequency response, providing a lively and genuine sound reproduction across all audio frequencies with a range of 5Hz – 36.1kHz (-10dB). These headphones come with two sets of ear pads that are tailored for creating and mixing music. This design helps reduce ear fatigue and enables precise identification of frequencies during critical listening tasks.

The HD 490 PRO headphones are designed with neodymium magnets and Sennheiser's special low-frequency cylinder system in an open-back style. This design aims to deliver a complete, precise, and clear low end sound, allowing for accurate capture of low frequencies.

Sennheiser has created these headphones with a focus on comfort, ensuring they are lightweight and flexible to prevent any discomfort from pressure points during long studio sessions. The HD 490 PRO series features Sennheiser's Open-frame Architecture, which aims to reduce distortion and resonance for better sound quality.

The headphones come with a plug-in called Dear Reality dearVR MIX-SE, which uses spatial audio technology to create a virtual mixing environment. This environment mimics the acoustic characteristics of different real-world mix studios and locations when using headphone monitors.

The HD 490 PRO Plus model comes with a longer 3m cable, an extra headband pad, and a carrying case.

There are two options available in the HD 490 PRO series – the HD 490 PRO and HD 490 PRO Plus. Both versions come with the HD 490 PRO headphones and accessories such as a 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter, 1.8 m cable, mixing ear pads, and producing ear pads. The HD 490 PRO Plus also includes extra features like an additional headband pad, a 3 m cable, and a carrying case.

The Sennheiser HD 490 PRO headphones are currently in stock and can be purchased for $399£349 for the standard version and $479£399 for the upgraded PRO Plus version.
